90’s Object Study

For a project I did a study on various household / everyday items, to practice breaking down objects into simple shapes and forms and learning how they work. However, I didn’t want to just do regular items, so I did a grouping of things from the 90’s. My dad had some old things of his, including a camcorder, a digital camera, and a flip phone.

I first started with a marker, studying my objects, and breaking them down in my sketchbook, which I attached below. Then I moved on to making my 5 thumbnails. I, once again, Blocked out my shapes (this time in a blue pencil crayon) and then added my values in pencil. My last one, since I had drawn them all 3 times already, I was able to chose which drawing I wanted to do and It was easy to draw without doing a sketch.
